Kenneth received the degree of B.S. in Electronics in 1993
from the Katholieke Industriele Hogeschool Antwerpen
(now Karel de Grote-Hogeschool), Belgium.
In 1997, he received the degree of M.S. in Electrical Engineering from
the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium.
He did his MS dissertation research in London (University College London)
where supervisor was Prof. David Haigh from UCL.
From September 1997 to September 2003, he was a research
assistant at the ESAT-MICAS laboratory of the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven.
He obtained his Ph.D. degree from the same university in September 2003.
His Ph.D. research was carried out under supervision of Prof. Georges Gielen.
From 2003 to 2005, before co-founding Mephisto Design Automation, he held a post-doctoral
research grant from IWT-Vlaanderen to commercialize his research work.
