Leuven, Belgium, July 8, 2009 – Mephisto Design Automation (MDA), a leading EDA tool innovator in the space of analog, mixed-signal and custom-digital design, today announced its new M-Design™ AMS platform 3.0, featuring the new M-Craft™ evaluation setup manager that augments its customer proven Testbench Composer interface. M-Craft allows to very efficiently enter and organize exact design intent and seamlessly integrates with the platform’s Advanced Flow Control to setup complex evaluation schemes for verification and optimization.

The new release also features extra migration capabilities to efficiently retarget analog, mixed-signal and custom digital circuits to new process technologies (foundries and/or nodes). Combined with the verification and auto-documentation engines, designers are now able to significantly enhance their productivity when migrating existing IP.

Demonstration & Availability
A preview of the new M-Design 3.0 release will be demonstrated at the forthcoming DAC (Design Automation Conference), July 27-30, 2009 in San Francisco. The new platform will be generally available as beta version in August 2009.
