License Requirements
MDA uses its own license manager (MeLiMa) to provide flexible
license schemes to its customers. The operation of this license manager
is similar to other popular license server products.
In order to succesfully run MDA software, you need:
- to have signed an NDA and license agreement
- to run MDA's license manager software on one of your computers: stand-alone computer or better a computer that can be accessed by other computers on your network (license server)
- to have the correct license keys (file provided by MDA)
Please provide us with your server (computer on which you want to run the license server) ID so we can insert it into the license agreement and use it to generate the correct license keys. See below how to retrieve and send us the necessary info.
Retrieving Server ID
- download one of the following executables(*):
- run the executable on your license server machine
- export MDA_LICENSE_FILE=0@0
- ./mgetid-1.3.1-linux32-3.0 (or similar)
- mail the output to:
